ST Youngwon won the Daegu Industry Grand Prize (Start-up sector) at the “2025 Daegu Chamber of Commerce’s Economic New Year’s Greetings” held at Daegu Exco on January 3, 2025.
The Daegu Industry Grand Prize is organized by the Daegu Chamber of Commerce and Industry and presented at the “Economic New Year’s Meeting” as an event to deliver certificates and rewards to the best performing companies in four sectors.
ST Youngwon was founded in 2021 and achieved remarkable performance despite being a start-up rooted in Daegu. Notwithstanding its short history, it was highly praised for achieving remarkable results every year with exports in the secondary battery sector, one of the five major national projects.
ST Youngwon specializes in manufacturing innovative production systems for lithium-ion battery wet separators, and is constantly innovating to lead the global market by providing advanced technology and excellent solutions through one-stop consulting with “the world’s first 8M class ultra-wide” technology.
It is a company that exports 6 wet separator production lines and 2 extractor units through fierce overseas markets by commercializing the 8M ultra-wide Duronic 8300, which can dramatically reduce production costs, and technology for ultra-wide 8M battery separators.
Duronic 8300 can be processed wider and faster than the existing separator system, and it has achieved an increase in production (more than 60%) of high-quality separators, bringing ST Youngwon remarkable results every year in recognition of its technology in overseas markets.
