‘DURONIC 8300’ is ST Youngwon’s wet separator production system with ‘world’s first 8M ultra-wide’ technology.
It can be processed wider and faster than the existing separator (3-5M class) system, has increased the production of high-quality separators (60% or more), and is a proven separator production equipment that is currently under operation in recognition of its technology in the market.
ST Youngwon had a booth dedicated to CES Eureka Park, and VIPs from major domestic government agencies and large corporations visited the booth during the exhibition. In particular, officials from NASA and major secondary battery companies showed great interest, and discussed follow-up discussions and possible cooperation.
At the exhibition, ST Youngwon highlighted its specialized battery separator technology, solutions, and consulting capabilities that meet customer demands. By commercializing the 8M ultra-wide ‘Duronic 8300,’ which significantly reduces production costs, ST Youngwon demonstrated its ability to compete in the fierce international market, achieving the export of 6 separator production lines and 2 extractor units.
In addition, ST Youngwon executives and employees visited global logistics companies in LA and discussed business diversification cooperation despite a tight schedule, receiving a lot of attention and response at CES 2025 and confirming the possibility of cooperation with global companies.
ST Youngwon will continue to innovate and strengthen its position in the global market so that its competitiveness can pass through the U.S. secondary battery separator market.
