The sales strategy of bringing ultra-wide separator equipment into the virtual space using a metaverse platform stands out.

ST Youngwon, a lithium-ion battery separator production facility specialist, participated in the ‘Battery Japan 2025’ exhibition held in Tokyo, Japan from February 19 to 21, 2025 and introduced innovative ultra-wide separator production equipment.

At this exhibition, ST Youngwon emphasized the advanced technology of ultra-wide separator production equipment and highlighted its strengths in productivity improvement and cost reduction. In particular, it attracted great interest from global battery manufacturers by publicizing the excellence of its representative equipment, the ‘UFLOW 85’ model and the ‘Duronic 8300’.

In addition, ST Youngwon introduced a new sales strategy using the metaverse through this exhibition. It provided more intuitive understanding to visitors by utilizing the metaverse platform that was configured to allow them to experience the operation of the equipment and the production process in a virtual space. Through this, it presented an innovative marketing method that can promote products to global customers without time and space constraints.

Battery Japan 2025 is an important event where global battery industry insiders gather, and it was the best opportunity to introduce our ultra-wide separator production technology. In particular, it was an exhibition where ST Youngwon was able to introduce products more effectively to overseas customers through a sales strategy utilizing the metaverse. It will continue to present specialized marketing, and to develop and advance various models at a time when companies in the secondary battery industry are struggling due to the ‘chasm’ phenomenon, and grow into a company with ultra-gap technology.

ST Youngwon plans to further strengthen its position in the global market as well as Japan through this exhibition, and will continue to expand cooperation with global battery manufacturers through continuous technology development and differentiated marketing strategies in the future.
